Where do your materials come from? How is your product made?

All of our products are made in central Massachusetts. We source high quality ingredients as locally as possible. Our soy is grown in the USA and all of our packaging is also made in the USA.

What are the ingredients of your candles?

Our standards are rigorous, and they exclude many materials that are staples in other suppliers’ oils. You may already be familiar with our exclusion of phthalates, but we also exclude materials with similar health concerns, including those onCalifornia’s Prop 65list. Materials known to be carcinogens in California aren’t any safer elsewhere!

There are 5 main hazard groups that we don't allow:

✖ Carcinogens: These are materials known or thought to cause cancer.

✖ Mutagens: Materials that change the DNA of a cell, harming the cell and causing diseases like cancer.

✖ Reproductive toxins: Toxins that adversely affect reproductive organs and increase the risk of birth defects.

✖ Organ toxins: These are toxins that can cause adverse effects or disease within specific bodily organs.

✖ Acute toxins: Toxins that can cause adverse effects from a single exposure. Generally, this would be accidental exposure like spillage or ingestion.

We have always been committed to having the safest, highest quality, most thoroughly tested oil line in our industry. And the work doesn’t end here. Striking a balance between safety and performance requires an ongoing monitoring program to make sure we stay up to date with the most recent data and research.

Please reach out if you have any other questions!

What is the burn time and life span of your candles?

The burn time varies per size but you can expect approximately:

40-50 hrs per 8oz

80-100 hrs per 16oz

We recommend burning your candles within a year to maximize performance. We do not use any preservatives.
